Alyson Parham Small

founder and president

Alyson Parham Small is the founder and president of Partec Consulting Group Inc. Prior to starting Partec in 1994, Ms.Parham Small worked in consulting/capacity-builder positions with Michigan State University and Kellogg Community College, and a Chicago-based consulting firm.

For more than 25 years, Ms. Parham Small has provided consulting, and training to various entities across the country and internationally, including nonprofits, foundations, universities, and government agencies. In working with intermediaries, Ms. Parham Small has designed and helped implement capacity-building programs to strengthen nonprofit organizations and collaborations on local and national levels. In providing a range of services to nonprofits, Ms. Parham Small has consulting with numerous nonprofits to develop strategic plans, conduct organizational assessments and through her grant writing service, secured millions in funding for clients. She has also trained numerous resident leaders and nonprofit executives on different management and leadership topics including proposal writing, community engagement, sustainability strategies, strategic planning, and fundraising.

Ms. Parham Small has earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics. She is a member of the Rotary Club, the National Association of Economics Educators, Alliance for Nonprofit Management, Institute of Management Consultants and the Association of Strategic Planning. She is also the founder of Sustainable Connexions International, a nonprofit organization that serves communities in the USA and West Africa.

Marc Parham

Training Coordinator

Marc Parham has helped people start and grow businesses for over 25 years.

He received the Entrepreneurship Center Program Brand Visionary award from the National Urban League in 2018 and 2022 and is the Director of Entrepreneurship for the Urban League of Greater Atlanta. In 2013 he was invited and attended a meeting with President Obama to discuss how the shutdown and debt ceiling issues were affecting small business.

He has trained and coached thousands of people to achieve their goals of growing successful businesses.

Co-founded by Alyson Parham Small, Sustainable Connexions International (SusCo) is a registered 501(3) nonprofit organization based in United States. Committed to supporting the more than 150 million orphans and other vulnerable children across the globe, SusCo envisions a world vulnerable child are nurtured, loved and move along paths toward becoming self-sufficient adults. SusCo works with local and global partners to provide vulnerable children with critical skills, development opportunities and program interventions to survive, thrive and excel.
